How long will it take for my screens to be manufactured?
The lead time for mill finish or rusted screens is 1-2 weeks.
The lead time is 3 weeks for powder coated screens.
For larger orders a progressive delivery schedule can be arranged.
Please let us know when ordering if your job is urgent and we will do our best to meet your schedule.
What are the screens made of? Can you make them in timber or plywood?
We manufacture our screens out of galvanised steel, hot rolled steel, Cor-Ten (rusting) steel, stainless steel and aluminium with thickness up to 12mm.
We can also perforate aluminium composite up to 4mm.
Unfortunately we do not offer screens in non-metal materials such as timber or plastics.
Do you also install your screens?
No we are supply only but we are happy to discuss options with you or your builder.
Both flat and folded screens come standard with pre-cut installation holes. We can also supply angle brackets, SHS frames and posts if required.
Please see our Installation page for full details on the options for installing your screen.
What finishes can I have on my screen?
We offer a variety of finishes for your screen including powder coating, anododising, patterned or coloured stainless steel, electro polished stainless steel or even advice on how to paint it yourself.
For Dulux Powder Coating please see the Dulux Colour Chart for options.
Dulux-Aus-Powders-Colour-Selector-2016.
Colours outside the Duralloy range will have to be individually quoted.
For Interpon colours please see the Interpon Colour Selector for options.
Can I paint the screen myself?
Yes! You need to use a metal paint like Taubman’s White Knight Rust Guard or Dulux Quit Rust or similar. The paint is easily applied with a small roller and can give you a large selection of colours and finishes. Approximately 250ml of metal paint is required for each standard panel.
Do you deliver interstate?
Yes we are happy to provide a quote for delivery or for you to get a quote of your own.
We do recommend taking insurance on all regional and interstate deliveries as we do not accept laibility for damage caused by a third party while items are in transit.
Do you make gates?
Yes we can supply our panels welded into a fully welded frame with an allowance for a lock box and posts suitable for use as a gate.
You will need to source the gate hardware separately.
Alternatively we can supply the laser cut panels to a gate manufacturer of your choice.
Can I use my own design?
Yes you can use your own design.
We would need it delivered on an industry standard CAD file: .dwg or .dxf or similar.
An additional fee will apply depending on the amount of extra programming work required.
What information do you need for a quote?
To give you an accurate quote we need to know the following details:
- The dimensions of the area that you want to screen.
- The substrate that you want to use: (Aluminium, Weathering steel, Galvanised steel) and the gauge.
- Your choice of design.
- The finish required (mill finish or powder coated and the colour)
- Any additional requirements like frames, posts, brackets.
